In the summer of 2021, I had the amazing opportunity to intern in the Wholesale department at LoveShackFancy's corporate office in New York City. Daily tasks for the sales team and their major accounts included entering and checking orders and return authorizations, generating available to sell reports, and managing brand presentation on major retailers’ e-commerce platforms utilizing JOOR, Widen, RLM, and Excel. My intern team was also given the opportunity to merchandise LoveShackFancy's section within major department stores, including Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue. I was able to develop skills in visual merchandising by understanding effective placement of garments on racks to create an appeal for customers within the department store. Our major project during my internship was assisting the Wholesale team during the Resort 2022 market by tagging and steaming the collection, arranging the pieces by ship date, tending to the buyers, entering and checking orders, and modeling the collection for the buyers.
