Hi there! My name is Olivia Cooke, and I'm a Senior Fashion Merchandising major and Communication Studies minor at Texas Christian University. During my time so far at TCU, I have acquired many relevant skills that I believe have helped to prepare me for a career in the fashion industry. This past summer, I interned with Tory Burch in New York City working in Merchandising and Buying with the Tory Sport Team. As an intern, I worked closely in buying and merchandising the Fall and Spring Assortments and managed samples in the New York and New Jersey offices. In the summer of 2021, I interned with the contemporary womenswear brand LoveShackFancy in New York City. As an intern in the Wholesale department, I worked with the team to prepare and sell the Resort 2022 collection during market. I also have industry experience working as a Sales Associate at Veronica Beard in San Francisco, CA, which provided me the opportunity to work with top clients and create a luxury retail experience. I also have experience working in styling for top department stores and retail with my positions as an Editorial and Digital Stylist Assistant and Sales Associate at Brandy Melville. These various experiences have provided me with a comprehensive creative and analytical skillset that will help me to contribute to future internships and careers in the fashion industry.

 

I am a member of the Delta Gamma Fraternity at TCU, where I have held the position of Director of E-Communication and Director of Apparel. Being a Panhellenic woman has helped to strengthen my values of sisterhood, service, and community. As a Delta Gamma, I participate in many fundraising events for our philanthropy, Service For Sight, which provides access and advocacy for those who are blind or visually impaired. I'm also very appreciative to hold positions that allow me to express my creativity and passions through merchandising apparel and managing the social media accounts.
